My mother after that had insisted on moving, and acutally the whole family wanted to move, except for me, Its New York why would anyone ever want to leave? my hand rested on the door panel as I let my fingers tap on it, I tapped in rhythm of the music, music was always my weakness, most people always found it relaxing, but I had this way of getting lost in it completely, like getting so lost that the real world stopped exciting, till the song ended.
Sean hit me on the arm, his boyish smile was wide and gleaming, Sean was my older brother, and I owe him everything, he saved me when I didn't know I needed it, which would be extremely strange for anyone else but me, I needed saving from someone else and not myself; "Didnt you pay any attnetion, mum just said we are almost there!" He said after I had taken a earpiece out of my ear, I nodded; "So?" I asked looking at him, his face fell and then said; "Think a
bout all the ass we can use here!" Sean smirked at me and I could see mom turn in her seat to glare at her other son; "One more thing like that and your no longer my son!" she said harshly she had done the feminist thing in the sixties, not a pretty sight for us other but some values she kept on and made one of the rules, but every new town Sean decided to mess with her, back in the days we use to do everything, get away with anything, but mum made all that change, Sean pit up his hands in like hold on kind of thing; "Mum, I was only kidding!" he stated and when she sat back down he pretend to wipe his forehead like a hard, task done, I just shook my head; "Are we there yet?" I asked as i leaned back some in my seat; "matter of fact, yes, we are here!" My mother said with a smile in her voice, once the car stopped and we got outside it was still pitch black, the house looked old, but it also looked like one of those houses I knew my family would keep for about as long as possible we have some others house around the world, but that's not the point, this house looked amazing, it looked cosy already on the outside, Sean, my mother and my father was the first in the house as well, we stood in the hall way but i could ear Sean obvious intake of alot of air, the thing he always does when he is about to run so before he could I flew past him and ran up the stairs and something told me I would want a room facing the water and as soon as my feet took me up to the first floor I ran around the corner and straight till I came to a stop in front of a door, the room was large, and the wall oppiste me was almost filled with windows, with an a small alcove and as I stood there I could hear my other siblings and family members start to attack the house trying to find a room, bur even if the this room had nothing special to it except all the windows, but something kept me put, like this room wanted me to choose it, but when I then saw it, I understood why I was standing there, the sunrise was slowly creeping in through the window, and the orange and pink light started to fill the room up so very amazingly, as I stood there I could here Amelia tip toe behind me; "dont even think about it!" I said to her and I could hear her stomp her foot; "Damn you." she mumbled and walked away, my lips at the corners slid up a bit, this room had wanted me, and for the first time since we decided to move here, I was happy about it, I just stood there leaning against the door frame watching the colours play on my walls, Oliver my younger brother came up and patted me on the back; "Nice digs man, you did well!" he nodded as he stood there and watched the colours play; "I'm sorry, I didn't have give it to Amelia, I mean shed love this, but, there is something about this room, and I.." he cut me off; "Don't worry about it I found an annex out in the back and snagged it before anyone else could, its actually rather massive, its one floor then there is a basement, and a small attic place, the small basement, is perfect for all my books and also perfect place to write on, my personal heaven!" he chuckled as he patted my back again; "every one else are down at the beach, want to join in?" he asked, as he stepped away from me; "Ill even rac.." he didn't finish as I darted past him laughing when i was half way out the door he tackled me and we fell out on to the pavement laughing; "Not again!" I could hear Aubrey complain as it was clear every one else heard the crack of the stone breaking under us, Oliver and I stood up and patted each others backs laughing; "Good one!" I smiled at Oliver as we walked down to the others, as we reached them I wrapped one arm around the shoulders of my mother and my sister Liza who was beaming; "Th
is place, I can feel it, you'll end up falling for it, trust me!" Liza smiled at me as she hugged my waist with one arm and her other arm around Jacks who kissed the side of her head; "I hope your right!" I smiled at her as we watched the sun rise all of us.On the other side of town on a large balcony, a girl was cuddled up on a small chair to watch the sunrise, sleeplessly she had gotten up from her warm comfortable bed and opened her balcony door and stepped outside, she had went to her her hiding spot and pulled out a cigarette and lit it just before the sun had started to rise over the horizon and smiled to herself once it did, she held her hand out and liked how the colours played on her skin, made her summer tan look more alive, she took a drag of her cigarette as she huddled up more, on the small chair her long blond hair fell in to her face and she easily slid the strand of hair behind her hair. Something in the air felt different, and she knew that something major was going to happen, today.
Once she turned out her cigarette she stood up and walked over to her balcony door she turned around and looked for another second before walking back inside, she put the blanket on a chair next to the balcony door and crawled in to bed, where her best friend was snoring, it wasn't just the first shed seen of him all summer but also, she was pleased that he was home, and that so was she. she laid back in her bed and looked up at the ceiling and put her hand up like she was reaching for it but as she did so a small light from her balcony window played its way to her arm and she smiled to herself as she slowly drifted in to sleep.
